About the AI Samarth Initiative

AI Samarth is a free, self-paced online AI literacy course for school teachers and aspiring teachers across India's K-12 education sector. It was created by Central Square Foundation with IIT Madras, and is brought to every teacher by CENTA.

Who is behind the course?

The course content was developed by Central Square Foundation, a non-profit working on school education in India, together with IIT Madras.

CENTA (Centre for Teacher Accreditation), an organization focused on teachers' professional growth, brings the course to teachers everywhere — along with a record of completion issued on the CENTA Learning Dashboard.

What does the course cover?

The course takes about 3.5 hours and is organized into 7 short modules:
